Chess: Pirc Defense (Austrian Attack)

Position after 5 ... c5

What's behind 6 dxc5?

6 ... Qa5 7 Bd3 Qxc5 8 Qe2:

Position After 8 Qe2

White's focus is an attack on the kingside.
Black, on the other hand, seeks to exploit
the g7 bishop, which was empowered along
h8-a1 by 6 dxc5.
To give it even more control
of the dark squares, he wants to eliminate
the f3 knight's d4-e5 influence via 8 ... Bg4
and a timely ... Bxf3.

16 Bc4 (with f4-f5 in mind) 16 ... Nd4

and White's position looks suspect due to
the inactive a2 bishop and his inability
to easily destroy Black's isolated d5 pawn.
